Pick a pair that’s made specifically for running.
When you run, your entire foot, from heel to toe, makes forceful and repetitive movement of landing on and pushing-off the ground as it absorbs and distributes the impact from your weight as your body bounces up and down. Now, you may opt to run barefoot or, occasionally, in your basketball, leisure or tennis shoes. However, running for long hours as well as over long distances would expose your feet to considerable amount of pressure and external elements, which you’ll be able to manage better and more efficiently and effectively if you’re wearing the proper pair of running shoes that not only fits and looks good on your feet but is also comfortable and can provide your feet with adequate amount of protection, traction, support, breathability and stability.
And so if you plan on doing running as a sport, there’s a really good chance that investing in a good pair of running shoes will be beneficial for you and won’t hurt as much as wearing the wrong type of shoes that don’t fit you and your requirements.
